Illegal Irregular Migrants Who Have Come To The UK

How many people have arrived illegally from 7th March 2023 to 30th April 2024?

In the year ending June 2024, 31,493

Total: 39,183 This total will be updated when Migrant Crossings are updated by the Home Office

Around 40,000 people have entered the UK through irregular or illegal routes from 7th March 2023. This estimate is comprised of the following elements:

  • 643 people who arrived on small boats between 7–31 March 2023

  • 30,973 people who arrived through all irregular routes from 1 April–31 December 2023

  • 7,567 people who arrived on small boats between 1 January–30 April 2024[

  • Total: 39,183

It should be noted that, except for the April–December 2023 period, the published data does not include those who may have arrived in the UK through an irregular route other than on small boats. There is also currently no data on how many of the above cohort have made an asylum application and therefore how many of those claims could be deemed inadmissible under the Illegal Migration Act 2023.

"An Increasing Population Creates

A strain on the economy especially when it is caused by Irregular Migration"

A surging population can put a strain on economic resources, especially in regions that are not prepared for the influx. This can lead to increased unemployment, poverty, and demands on services like education, healthcare, and housing.

We need to deport anyone who comes across to the UK in a boat from France as they are entering the UK by crossing its borders without a valid passport and anyone who comes to the UK must come here through legal channels - they must go through Customs - most of our ports and airports have two exits or ‘channels’: the red and green channels.

Can A British Citizen Return To The UK Without A Passport

To enter the UK, everyone needs a valid Passport. The Passport must remain valid for the duration of the stay of the Passport holder if they are visiting from overseas.

Even British Citizens may be denied entry back into the UK without a Passport.

To be allowed entry to the UK

  • To prove who you are and where your Country Of Origin is You will need to show your identity document, such as your passport or national identity card.

Reasons you would be refused entry to the UK. The Home Office doesn't give visas to people -

  • Who does not have enough money?

  • Can't show why they want to visit, and don't have relations with their home country.

  • Have a criminal record, have been turned down before.

  • Give fake information.

  • Are sick as  Medical information is one of the foremost considerations because of the risks for the entire British public of allowing entry for people with contagious and deadly diseases.14 Feb 2024

People smugglers & Irregular Migrants are making a Mockery of Our UK Borders

Why is the Government allowing irregular Migrants to come into the UK and not using the Border Force to stop them from come onto British Soil, they should be stopped Photos and DNA evidence should be taken to stop them from coming back to the UK or making an application to come to the UK at a later date. They should then be taken back to France immediately as we have an agreement(Paid) with France for them to stop Migrants from getting across to the UK.

We have Customs for UK Residents and Visitors to come into the UK legally and Passports/national identity cards so that we can stop the spread of contagious and deadly diseases, to stop dangerous criminals and people bringing in drugs to the UK. UK Legal Residents of the UK have to pay for Passports at the time of writing this Blog The new passport fees, as of the 11th April 2024, are: Standard Online Application (Adult) – £88.50. Standard Online Application (Child) – £57.50. Postal Applications (Adult) – £100.

What documents do you need for a passport in the UK online?

To apply online you'll need:

  • a digital photo of you (or a device that takes digital photos and someone to take your photo)

  • someone who can confirm your identity.

  • supporting documents.

  • a credit or debit card.

Yet we are allowing Irregular Migrants to come into the UK, with no ID documents on them, who have not come through the legal routes or applied for Asylum and received acceptance to come to the UK before they came over to the UK legally after being checked by the Home Office. A large percentage of the migrants coming over would not have been accepted.

We don't know who these people are crossing the channel in boats, why they are coming to the UK or anything about them as they are coming across with no documentation on them. Amongst the Migrants on the Boat their could be hiding alongside those who truly need Asylum whose lives depend on going to the nearest safe country, who would have had their Asylum claim checked out if they went through the legal route, but the Criminals who have committed serious crimes, some of the Migrants could be bringing drugs across with them to sell, have knives on them, could have health problems, or infectious diseases which may spread like Covid when they come into the UK, These would not get through Customs. It's making a mockery of our Border Controls and putting a strain on our RNLI.

People Crossing The English Channel In Small Boats

The UK is currently having a major problem with Immigrants coming across to the UK from France.

There is an arrangement where the UK government pays money to the French government. In return, the French government allocates additional resources to monitor and manage its English Channel coast.

UK-French co-operation over controls at their shared borders has been formalised through a series of bilateral agreements. Most recently, a declaration issued after the UK-France leaders' summit in March 2023 pledged to "drastically reduce" the number of Channel crossings year on year and included related financial commitments for the UK of around £476 million between 2023/24 and 2025/26.

22 Mar 2023 — The UK committed to providing €72.2 million for UK–French border control (around £62.2 million) in 2022/23. A Joint Leaders' Declaration issued ...

So the government needs to stop putting Illegal Immigrants up in Hotels and  effectively start deporting illegal immigrants who come to the UK illegally, then the Migrants won't pay the Smugglers to come across from France and this will stop the chaos.

This is crucial for the future of the UK. As it's costing the Government millions which could be used to house those who are here legally, improve our NHS and our Children's Education, training those who are on benefits so they can get a decent well paying jobs.

In 2015 on Thursday 7th May 2015 Conservatives won the general election

The following Petition was submitted

Petition:

Stop allowing immigrants into the UK.

The UK government need to prevent immigrants from entering the UK immediately! We MUST close all borders, and prevent more immigrants from entering Britain. Foreign citizens are taking all our benefits, costing the government millions!

Many of them are trying to change UK into a Muslim country!

If the Government does not do anything, then Britain may take in 12 million more immigrants by 2060. There is footage of foreigners destroying British soldiers graves, which is a huge disrespect to us. Sign this petition to show the government what they need to do!

This petition is closed This petition ran for 6 months

This was debated on 19th October 2015

Government responded

This response was given on 26 October 2015

We are building an immigration system that works in the public interest. We welcome the brightest and the best who come here legally to work and study, but believe net migration should be lower and are clamping down on illegal migration, including through the Immigration Bill. We will also introduce a new approach to asylum - with strict new rules for people who abuse the system, and greater generosity for people who need our help.????

The UK has a proud history of protecting those most in need. As the Prime Minister announced to Parliament at the beginning of last month, the UK will accept a further 20,000 migrants dislocated from their homes following the Syrian crisis. The UK can be proud that since the start of that conflict we have been at the forefront of the humanitarian response. We are providing more than £1 billion in aid – making us the second biggest bilateral donor in the world. Our contribution is almost as much as the rest of the EU put together. We can be proud of our contribution and our history of valuing diversity in the UK.

Uncontrolled immigration, however, places pressure on public services, the labour market and wages.

To control legal migration we have changed the profile of migrants coming here to work and study from outside the EU, to ensure that we are genuinely welcoming the brightest and the best. The figures show this strategy is working, with a 17% increase in the number of sponsored student visas applications for universities since 2010, and a rise of 33% for the elite Russell Group universities. We have toughened access to welfare and housing and non-EU immigration remains 10% lower than in September 2010. Going forward, our long term economic plan will see many more young Britons given the training and skills they need to fill the jobs our booming economy is creating.

In terms of illegal migration one of the most visible pressure points has been at Calais. Over the summer the migrant population in this area increased to around 5,000 and there was an associated increase in the number of illegal attempts to breach the border.

The Government has made good progress with the French Government to address this situation. The declaration the Home Secretary signed with the French Interior Minister, on 20th August, cements a comprehensive programme of work between France and the UK including additional French police, and extra fencing, search dogs and other security measures provided by the UK.

The Government is also taking action through a new Immigration Bill that was introduced to Parliament on 17th September.   The Government is introducing new powers to build an immigration system that works in the best interests of the UK and those who play by the rules. Illegal workers will face having their earnings seized, while rogue employers could have their businesses closed.

The Bill will make it harder for people to settle in the UK when they have no right to do so, building on the Immigration Act 2014 to further restrict access to services for illegal migrants. Landlords will be able to evict illegal migrants more quickly and access to driving licences and bank accounts will be further protected as services for only the lawfully resident population.

The Bill will close existing loopholes that allow certain illegal migrants to claim asylum support even though they do not have a pending asylum application or appeal. We will continue to meet all of our international obligations towards asylum seekers and refugees, but equally we expect other illegal migrants to depart from the UK rather than providing access to support.

The Bill will make it easier to remove people who should not be in the UK by introducing new powers to tag foreign national offenders released on bail, and extending “deport now, appeal later” certification powers to more immigration cases. We will also be equipping immigration officers with additional search and seizure powers to better enforce our immigration laws.

Finally, as the Home Secretary set out earlier this month, we will introduce a new approach to asylum with strict new rules for people who abuse the system in Britain, and greater generosity for people in parts of the world where we know they need our help. For example, we will take a tougher approach to those who claim asylum after abusing the visa system or having travelled to get here through safe countries but we will establish a register of people and organisations that can provide houses for the settlement of genuine refugees.

Home Office

What Happened?? We have Migrants coming to the UK in Boats who are given accommodation in UK Hotels at the expense of the British Public in 2024

Questions & Answers On

The Current Government Should Have Stricter Enforcement

The Government should take more decisive action to address these issues. (We stopped deporting people who came to the UK illegally in 2020 as I remember seeing something on the news about small boats with up to 13 people in them coming across from France.

Because we stopped deporting people there has been a huge influx of people coming to Britain since 2020.

The boats coming over now are bigger and have more people in them who have to be rescued by our RNLI when they fall into the water.

So we should deport all people who come to Britain illegally, and return those who are here in Britain who have come across on boats and send them back to their Home Countries.

Border Force should take back any illegal immigrants on large boats and make sure that none of the illegal migrants can try to get back to the UK borders.

Border Force takes Channel Migrants to France for the first time

As Starmer seeks Europe returns deal.

Border Force Sending Back Migrants to France for the first time, who came across by boats they have paid traffickers to get in to come across to the UK.

Many of them would not have been accepted to come to the UK if they had gone through the legal route to be assessed for Asylum.

Border Force took migrants rescued from the Channel back to France for the first time on Thursday as the Prime Minister said that he wants an asylum seeker returns deal with Europe.

July 2024

The Home Office has confirmed that a British Border Force vessel which was assisting with a French search and rescue operation has returned migrants to France for the first time.

One migrant died and a further 71 were rescued after their boat deflated in the English Channel on Wednesday, the French coastguard has said.

The maritime in France said 59 people were brought on board the French ship PSP Cormoran, including an unconscious person who could not be resuscitated by the medical team.

A British vessel, the Border Force Ranger, also saved 13 people from the water, and both ships took the group of people to Calais.

A Maritime and Coastguard Agency spokesperson said: "A Border Force vessel and RNLI lifeboat was sent to support French vessels in the operation, co-ordinated by French authorities." A Maritime and Coastguard Agency spokeswoman said: 'HM Coastguard received a report of a small boat in difficulty in French waters near Calais at about 2.40 pm on July 17th.

The French coastguard added that it continued to search the scene until nightfall and no further people were found in the water.

Housing Asylum Seekers Who Came To The UK By Boat From France

Asylum seekers were housed in hotels and barges and the Conservative Government were going to send them to Rwanda.

There was an increase in the number of people in hotels and Rishi Sunak promised to end hotel use.

It was on 13 December 2022 (almost eight months ago) that Mr Sunak said, the government "must end" using hotels to house asylum seekers but did not set a date for when this is expected to happen. At the end of December 2022, there were 45,775 asylum seekers in UK hotels according to government figures.

The number of asylum seekers staying in UK hotels has indeed increased since December.

A *stock of 16,000 rental properties for asylum seekers has been put together by the Home Office - even though there is an acute shortage of homes for young Britons and families.14 Feb 2024

These* should be given to those on the Housing Lists who already live here legally (were born here and have a long ancestral history, then those who came here through the legal routes to the UK) not asylum seekers .

The Government's failure to control Illegal Immigration is linked to the rising unrest, riots and protests going on in the UK.

Population Increase has caused pressure

  • Rents have risen since 2021

  • Access to Health Services

  • Congestion On Our Roads

  • Pressure on infrastructure

The population crisis has the biggest impact affecting people's lives and damaging their quality of life.

The Labour government has scrapped a plan by the previous Conservative government to deport migrants to Rwanda.

By the end of June 2023 - the latest available data, - there was 50,546 asylum seekers in the UK.

But the Prime Minister Keir Starmer says he plans to cut the number of people crossing the Channel in small boats by taking tougher measures to "smash" people smuggling gangs.

Returns of small boat arrivals

Between 2018 and March 2024, there have been 3,168 returns of small boat arrivals, or 3% of all small boat arrivals, 2,178 of these returns occurred in the year to March 2024.

Numbers of returns are low relative to numbers of people arriving irregularly by small boat, because most of these irregular migrants claim asylum on arrival. Those claims that are unsuccessful must still undergo substantive consideration, or consideration under inadmissibility rules, before any steps can be taken to arrange a return.

In year ending March 2024, 89% of small boat returns have been Albanian nationals. This follows the UK-Albania joint communique, signed on 13 December 2022 in an effort to deal with illegal migration and increase the number of people returned to Albania.

People who sought asylum in the UK

More than 84,000 people claimed asylum in 2023, external. In the first three months of 2024, 19,395 people applied for asylum.

In the whole of 2022, just under 100,000 people requested asylum. Small boat arrivals accounted for about 45% of those. The equivalent figure is not available for 2023.

(During the last Labour Government). Your feet didn't touch the sides, you were gone out of the U.K. (during 2009-2010 50,000 people who came to the UK illegally were deported).

Sweden and other Countries have done something about their Immigration Crisis, so can The U.K

We should have restricted immigration to the U.K.

UK Citizens are not bothered by legal migrants which can be of benefit to the UK if handled properly and the migrants who come to Britain can self-support themselves.

And those from war-torn countries eventually return to their country of origin but irregular migration causes unsustainable problems

  • The UK Government should change how Asylum seekers can apply for Asylum to the UK by changing how the Government receives applications.

If the UK Government only accepted applications from the country of origin of the asylum seeker. Then Asylum seekers would come by legal migration routes, and if anyone tried to come to the UK by boats or in the back of lorries they would be met by BORDER Force then returned to their country of origin with no leave to return to the UK.

With a rule that if an Asylum seeker tried to come to the UK without getting Asylum authorised by the government before they came over to the UK, then the Asylum Seeker would be returned to their country of origin without leave of return to the UK or surrounding Islands, we would not have the Irregular Migration we have now.

  • Legal Immigrants Who come to Britain should be able to self support themselves and have a place arranged before they come to the UK Legally.

  • Work arranged with a legal business, so they can support themselves.

  • Not be given benefits or a Council Home if they can't support themselves they should give up their British Citizenship and return to the tneir country of origin, as they would not have worked long enough to be given benefits or a home.

  • Any Migrants who come over here should be of benefit to the country and the UK government should only accept migrants who come here legally any who come over illegally with identification documents or passports should be sent back to France for the French to send them back to their country of origin as we have a paid agreement for them to stop illegal migrants coming over to the UK.

  • Also, British Citizens born here who have ancestors born here in the last century should be prioritized for housing and benefits. And those allowed into the Country legally as long as they don't commit a crime and can self-support themselves then we wouldn't have to pay out millions in benefits or to house them in Hotels.

And anyone who comes to this country.

Should respect our country, our way of life and our traditions. Including our Flag.

They should not insist on changes to the British way of life.

If Immigrants don't like how we do things in this country they should go back to their country of origin.

They should also Speak English.

Show respect to the British people.

If they commit any crimes they should be deported back to their country of origin, this should also include anyone who is born to parents who came to this country as they are only here because their parents came over to the UK. This will help to decrease the strain on our Prison system.

But Immigration legally may need to be put on hold for at least the next 5 years so that the Illegal immigrants can be -

  • put in special reception centres

  • then placed in return centres to prioritize efficient returns of all illegal immigrants.

Migrants who Return To France

Also more and more migrants are making the return journey back to France as they can no longer work or settle with no documents.

Migrants when questioned have said they just want to get a flat and a job and possibly a driving licence and a nice life. They have also found after coming to Britain that if you go to London, you will find too many homeless people who are in the same situation as a lot of the people who come across to the UK by boat after paying Smugglers who promise them they will be helped to have a nice life when you get to the UK. But the homeless boat people on London's streets are scared to go back home to their home country as they have run away from war.

Migrants stay in London Quote: You stay here and die here, some go back to other countries as they don't want to die in the UK. There are no statistics on how many go back to France or other Countries as some are said to go back by Inflatable Boats they buy or even boats they take from the beaches, also on lorries going back to France and by other means. If they go back by boat they check the weather forecast online on the ....weather website in the Sunrise Café. They beg on the streets for money and buy a cheap Inflatable boat e.g. a Child's toy inflatable boat.

One Migrant paid £1.500 a few years ago and was going back to France as he was going back to France as he can no longer work or settle with no documents and he has been waiting 3 years trying to get Asylum in the UK.

He was arrested when he tried to go back in the boat as the Police thought he was a resident in difficulty in the water, they let him go and gave him back his boat.

In Dover Name Sunrise Café, a small Community Cafe that helps the homeless and migrants. There they can warm up, enjoy a meal and charge their phones.

I have also seen online a video of a failed crossing from France

Where 100 migrants stormed the picture-perfect beach in northern France and headed into the sea where a taxi boat awaited them, to attempt to make the crossing to the UK.

Migrants have said they will stop at nothing to get to the UK Quote: nothing will stop us. They say the UK is good and France are no good.

French Police stabbed boats as Migrants clashed with the Police as migrants stormed the boats, They should have stopped the Migrants from coming to the UK by stabbing the boats when the migrants first started coming to the UK in boats supplied by the Human Traffickers then we would not have our hotels full of illegal migrants. The Police also tried to stop the migrants.

*5 Human Traffickers orchestrated the entire boarding, with some Vietnamese passengers paying £10,000 each to receive a VIP Service from them* the first boat failed and the second made it out to sea.

Illegal Irregular Migrants Coming Across In Overloaded Boat From France
Illegal Migrants In Boat From France

MIGRANTS ARE NOW COMING ACROSS IN OVERLOADED BOATS WITH SOME FALLING INTO THE SEA & DROWNING

More than 700 migrants arrived in the UK after crossing the Channel in 11 boats on Sunday 11th August 2024= to 63 Migrants in each boat in one day - the highest since Labour came to power.

Home Office data published on Monday shows 703 people were detected coming across yesterday,*11th August 2024 which is also the third highest this year. and the highest to *date since Kier Starmer came to power on 4th July 2024

Eleven boats were detected, suggesting an average of 64 people per boat.

On Sunday, two people died trying to cross the Channel in a small boat.

Their small boat was in French waters when they sent a distress signal to the regional coastguard centre.

About 50 migrants were rescued from the boat by a helicopter and two boats, with "many" pulled out of the water with "fuel burn injuries", the French maritime regional authorities said.

Those rescued were returned to France, with an investigation into the two deaths being led by the country.

There are more migrants coming across to the UK and the Boats are bringing across more Migrants per Boat and some of the Migrants are drowning when they fall into the water or the Boat capsizes which then means they have to be rescued by Border control and the RNLI.

But As We Are ONLY An Island

We need to house and look after those who are in Britain legally. And send back all the illegal migrants who have come across to Britain before the current situation becomes unmanageable and magnifies and get out of hand.

We need our Green Belt land as using it will lead to Flooding as we will run out of available land if this irregular migration gets out of hand.

An increasing population creates a strain on the economy caused by irregular migration

If the British Government lets ANY of the Illegal Migrants that came across to Britain from France stay then this will give a clear signal to those who intend to try the same route to come across in the future and Britain will be overrun with immigrants and it will break the British Economy this will mean that:

  1. It will be hard to keep track of any immigrants who come across as they have no Passports or I.D on them which means we don't know their Name, where they originate from, if they have a criminal record...

  2. As our cities continue to grow, the demand for infrastructure and resources increases rapidly, cities become overcrowded. Urbanization brings about a number of challenges, one of which is the strain on existing infrastructure and resources.. which will include our transport systems ...Buses and trains and our water and sanitation systems as more housing will have to be built and will also increase traffic congestion with an increasing number of vehicles on the road leading to increased pollution everywhere in the UK.

Overcrowding: Increases strain on Water, Sanitation and housing.

Traffic congestion: Increased pollution and or fires when more EV's come onto our roads.

Water scarcity: Urbanization has led to a rapid increase in demand for water resources which will get a lot worse if Illegal Immigrants are allowed to stay.

Energy demand: significant increase in energy demand.

  • Also with those Immigrants who take up Hybrid and Electric Car's to get around there will be an increased likelihood of more EV Fires this will also place a strain on the charging network and won't be able to keep up with demand- as more EVs on the road means we will need more EV chargers to ensure availability for all.

With the increasing presence of EVs on our roads, the probability of being caught in an EV fire based on currently available data could change as being caught in an EV fire

appears overall to be much lower than for petrol or diesel cars at the moment as their less Electric and Hybrid Vehicles on the roads at the moment than petrol or diesel cars

– but as more people get electric cars, especially when the ban comes into force in 2030 and the sale of new Petrol and Diesels stops this will be more likely as more Electric/Hybrid vehicles are driven on our roads and also with the increased population in cities and towns with the Illegal Immigrants which have come across to Britain in the last few years and in the near future if they are not returned to France to go back to their country of origin.

  • This will put an increased strain on the infrastructure as more Housing will be needed which will mean that it will also increase the patient load on the NHS, Schools

  • Water scarcity: More demand for housing leads to Urbanization will lead to a rapid increase in demand for water and our current existing water supply infrastructure is unable to keep up with the growing demand we have now without the massive demand if more immigrants are given housing and more come across in the next few years. This will lead to increased levels of water scarcity

Waste management: With more people residing in urban areas, the amount of waste generated has also increased. This puts a strain on existing waste management and could lead to health and environmental problems including the risk of flooding.

Energy demand: Urbanization has already led to a significant increase in energy demand. This will put a strain on existing energy infrastructure and will lead to increased greenhouse gas emissions. on the current system we use for energy supply.

And If We Use More WIND Power -

What is a drawback to using wind turbines to generate electricity?

Some of the main disadvantages of wind energy include unpredictability, it is a threat to wildlife, it creates low-level noise, they aren't aesthetically pleasing, and there are limited locations suitable for wind turbines.

If Cities Transform Rapidly This Leads To -

Rising Rents and Property Values which force out low-income residents which then alters the social fabric of our cities etc. (The intricate network of social relationships, norms, values, and institutions that hold a community or society together. It includes elements such as family structures, cultural practices, and community organizations.)

Once affordable areas lead to evictions and displacements which then lead to other problems.

Britain will end up as a carbon copy of other Countries that have overcrowding due to too many people living in One Country

Slums will appear on the edges of our Cities

Affordable housing will become an elusive dream and Crime rates will rise and become unmanageable.  Homelessness: The paradox of plenty exists in megacities.

Amid opulence, homelessness persists. Lack of affordable housing, mental health support, contribute to this crisis, leading to housing insecurity and people who suffer because of this are more likely to suffer from chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes, heart disease and Mental Health Problems as they are more likely to experience depression and anxiety as housing insecurity can lead to stress, anxiety, and a lack of access to healthcare.

The strain on our ageing infrastructures will lead to frequent breakdowns, inefficient systems and rising costs as more Migrants move to the UK.

This will not only affect the quality of life of residents but also have a significant impact on the environment.

Housing Insecurity due to lack of affordable housing can lead to overcrowding.

is not limited to those who are homeless or living in poverty. It can also affect people who are struggling to make ends meet, and who are living paycheck to paycheck.

No job can lead to .....irregular income

Overcrowding can lead to health problems.

But if we follow other Countries like Sweden, Germany, Hungary.... and impose Border controls and make the UK less attractive to Migrants by Informing them that they will be returned to France and then onto their country of origin if they manage to get to the UK borders. Also if we make the UK less attractive to Migrants who want to come across to the UK thinking it is the land of opportunity

What Asylum Seekers Will Get...

You can ask for somewhere to live, a cash allowance or both as an asylum seeker.

Housing

You’ll be given somewhere to live if you need it. This could be in a flat, house, hostel or bed and breakfast.

You cannot choose where you live. It’s unlikely you’ll get to live in London or south-east England.

  • How much money do asylum seekers get in the UK per week?

£49.18 per person in your household per week

Asylum support rates are currently set at £49.18 per person per week or £7 a day to cover essential living needs like food, travel, clothing and communications. They are set at £8.86 for those in full board accommodation. Which was reduced in January 2024 from £9.58.

How much money do migrants get in France?

1/ How much is the allowance

 – If you accept the offer and the OFII grants you a house, you will receive 6,80 €/day. = to £5.74 a day

– If you have a husband, a wife or children with you in France, you will receive 3,40€ = to £2.87 more /day/person + 7.40€= to £6.25 per day for your wife or husband if you are not hosted.

Do asylum seekers get benefits?

As an asylum seeker you are excluded from most benefits. This is because, as someone who requires leave and does not have it, you are defined as a 'person subject to immigration control. ' Although being an asylum seeker does not exclude you from being able to claim contributory benefits.

People in the UK without a legal right to be here are not entitled to claim any benefits. Asylum seekers, including those who arrive in the UK on small boats for example, also can’t claim welfare benefits, but do receive some financial support from the government as well as help with housing if they need it?

How Sweden Ended The Immigration Crisis

Integration

Crime

Economic Pressures

We should do what the second biggest party in Sweden has done implement Restrictive Policies such as Border Checks and Deportation Centres, this also happening all over Europe. The people are starting to voice their concerns over immigration and how immigrants are starting to change their countries.

This is driven by growing concerns over Integration, Crime Rates and Economic Pressures.

Sweden Democrats have moved away from their extremist roots and taken on a more populist stance-especially on immigration and this has attracted more votes in support of the Swedish Democrats this is linked to the growing worries about the growing worries about the influx of immigrants and the problems of integrating them.

As an example many Swedes feel the large number of immigrants has harmed their country e.g: They feel Sweden isn't safe anymore ...

  • Rising Crime Rates - Officials are struggling with Gang Violence and even bombings.

  • Also, they believe the welfare state is struggling as it can't keep up with the demand.

  • Schools also have too many students. Hospitals are overcrowded.

  • And their isn't enough Housing.

  • They also think their Country is divided with different cultures clashing and bringing the economy under pressure.

Immigrants now make up 20% of the population in Sweden and this is been mirrored in other countries all over Europe and the UK.

Officials are struggling with Rising Crime, Economic Threats and a failing Education System.

So how did Sweden known for its open and welcoming immigration policies become a country with some of the strictest immigration measures in Europe.

After World War 2

Sweden became high performing export orientated economy, which was built on a stable parliamentary democracy and social consensus, they once boasted top notch healthcare and education enjoyed social and gender equality, had low crime rates and minimal ethnic conflict.

Present Day Sweden Is Known For:

The highest rate of gang related killings in Europe, (average age of offenders is very low with kids in their early teens been arrested for murder and many suburbs are now labelled as especially vunerable areas.

Meaning it's almost impossibe for the Police to work there - these areas are often called no go zones, are controlled by local gangs. First responders need flak jackets and Police Escorts to enter these dangerous neighbourhoods.

Sweden was faced with a huge challenge and a flood of immigrants and not enough integration.

Sweden a once peaceful haven now ranks second in the world for bombings among countries not at war.

Sweden did the following - they got really serious with a tough stance.

Will their tough stance save Sweden and can it serve as a guide for the rest of Europe.

Sweden has 10.6 million people is in the middle of a national crisis because it struggled to integrate a massive wave of Immigrants.

For many the dream of a safe prosperous Sweden is gone and is replaced by chaos and uncertainty.

The Party's success is tied to Sweden's large number of asylum seekers and rapidly changing demographics in terms of ethnicity and the share of foreign-born citizens, this worry has resonated with many workers concerned about Job Security and competition from low wage labour.

Second party- Sweden Democrats.

Anti Immigration Stance - has now become increasingly mainstream.

Sweden Democrats have used controversial tactics to promote their message.

Public Displays Against Immigration

Such as - Putting up English Language posters in Stockholm.

Distributing Leaflets on Med Island of Lesbos To discourage refugees from coming to Sweden has been part of their Political Strategy. This has polarized the debate around immigration and this has forced the other parties to confront the issue head on.

Broad trend of Populism and nationalism cross Europe.

Far right Parties getting more votes. This proves many people are losing trust in traditional politics and want stricter rules on Immigration.

Sweden is known for being open and tolerant - how can the country keep its caring values while dealing with the real problems which come with immigration?

There are plans for special reception centres for asylum seekers. More detention facilities and return centres for those whose asylum applications are denied starting in 2024.

In 2024 Sweden Introduced Strict changes to its migration policy.

Set Up: Reception Centres for asylum centres, to centralise their processing and housing aiming to control where they live and restrict their movement.

This is part of a broader strategy to manage immigration more effectively.

Asylum seekers will no longer be allowed to settle wherever they choose.

Set Up: Establishment of return centres which are for asylum seekers whose applications have been rejected, helping them to return to their home countries.

The Government allocated funds to these centres which shows a firm stance on immigration.

Sweden has now taken a sharp turn in its immigration policies.

Alongside its reception centres, Sweden has now introduced stricter asylum laws -to reduce the flow of migrants - these measures include thorough checks to prevent abuse of the asylum system and crack down on illegal immigration.

Despite the challenges - Sweden's new migration policies are proving effective - the number of asylum seekers has decreased significantly and the government anticipates this trend will continue by centralising the asylum process and prioritising efficient returns. Sweden hopes to establish a sustainable and equitable migration system.

The Story Of Sweden's Immigration Policies Is Evolving

Sweden was once a welcoming nation that once opened its arms to asylum seekers.

Has now made a dramatic course correction.

the country's strict decision to implement strict identity checks on all incoming traffic from Denmark in January make a significant shift.

In 2016

Sweden made a significant shift from its historically generous refugee policies. This change was aimed at reducing the influx of migrants and refugees. This followed an unprecedented surge in asylum applications in 2015.

During 2015 Sweden received a staggering 160,000 asylum seekers (nearly double the previous record of 84,000 set in 1992.

The sheer volume of arrivals stretched Sweden's resources to Breaking Point with local councils across the country struggling to accommodate the growing numbers in Gyms, Churches and even tent camps pressed into service as makeshift shelters. Highlighting the immense cost associated with the crisis.

In response to this unsustainable situation and a growingly sceptical public, the Swedish government announced.

Several policy changes in the Autumn of 2015, these included faster processing times for asylum seeker requests and stricter policies towards rejected applicants and the creation of dedicated reception centres for asylum seekers.

The Government committed funds to various aspects of migration policy in its 2024 Budget - this funding aims particularly at expanding detention capacity and facilitating the return of unsuccessful asylum seekers to their home country.

Deporting Illegal Migrants

People with no right to remain in the UK

If you can't stay in the UK legally This is known as making a 'voluntary return'. You can contact the Voluntary Returns Service team to find out what help you can get. You can read more about voluntary returns on GOV.UK. You can also apply online for help to leave the country.

??The UK Border Force has been granted enhanced powers to identify, detain, and deport illegal immigrants more efficiently. This includes increased funding for border security and advanced technology to monitor and control illegal entry points.30 Jul 2024

??New UK immigration rules are being introduced throughout 2024, including an increase in the salary requirement for skilled worker visa to £38,700 per year on 4 April 2024 and spouse visa to £29,000 on 11 April 2024, restrictions on healthcare and care worker visa holders as well as international student visa holders ...30 Apr 2024

Other Information:

Research also suggests that the decision to come to the UK is influenced more by smugglers, agents, or handlers than by the migrants themselves [5].

“because you can work without identity papers in England and that creates a demand”. There is little evidence to indicate that the UK’s lack of an ID card system acts as a draw to migrants.

In the UK, as in France, employers can be fined or imprisoned if they are found to have hired someone without permission to work and did not check the immigration status of that person.

ECHR (European Court of Human Rights)

Brexit was about leaving the EU. It did not impact the Council of Europe, so the UK still has to follow the ECHR and judgments from the European Court of Human Rights. The UK remains part of the European Convention on Human Rights, separate to the EU, after Brexit.

ECHR was established after World War 2, by the European Court of Human Rights, the ECHR makes it difficult to deport illegal immigrants from the UK.

How does the ECHR affect immigration?

ECHR does not guarantee the right of an alien to enter or reside in a particular country (see para 39 Boultif [2001] - 54273/00 [2001] ECHR 497) and that a State is entitled, as a matter of international law and subject to its treaty obligations, to control the entry of aliens into its territory and their residence ...

**The ECHR protects against the risk of refoulement, but does not prevent the lawful deportation of a person who has claimed asylum, nor does it stop a country sending them to a safe third country.15 Apr 2024.

So The Government Needs To Do The Following...

  • Stop paying out for all the Asylum seekers and Migrants who have come across to the UK, don't house them or pay them to live in the UK.

  • Deport anyone who comes across to the UK in a boat from France using Border Force and return to France on a boat or a ship . The Migrants should be met by Border Force and the Police and stopped from entering the UK.... We also need to deport all criminals back to their country of origin.

  • Also, stop paying out for all the Asylum seekers and Migrants who have come across to the UK illegally by boat or any other method of illegal entry. We would then save Millions on putting them up in Hotels and paying them to live in the UK.

  • UK Government should only accept applications from the country of origin of the asylum seeker then Migrants would have no reason to come over to the UK to place an application to come to the UK.

  • Make it known e.g: and Online Posters on the internet which leave those who want to come here for free housing, benefits in no doubt that we will only accept those who want to come to the UK if they apply legally and if accepted they have a job and place to stay and they can self-support themselves.

  • And they are a benefit to the UK.

  • Use the money been spent on Asylum seekers and Illegal Migrants and to get rid of the deficit left by the previous Government and house those who are in the UK Legally.

  • Don't give the countries of Origin any money from the UK coffers which was paid in taxes by UK residents to take their Citizens back, just send them back. Use this money to look after the British Legal Citizens, to help house them......

  • Expand Border Controls to curb irregular migration....

  •  Make the UK less attractive to Migrants who want to come across to the UK thinking it is the land of opportunity. Stop paying out for all the Asylum seekers and Migrants who have come across to the UK Legal applicants should be self supporting.

Sweden's Tough Stance Against Immigration should serve as a guide for the rest of Europe., others are already doing the same and not accepting migrants and deporting them from their Countries back to their Country of origin.

North Macedonia, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, Greece, Italy as the least-accepting countries for migrants

We need to do the same as we have no room in the UK for Migrants as we have no housing for our own Citizens and we need to make their Welfare a priority and improve our economy and stop paying out hand over fist money the UK should be using for its own Legal Citizens, and make Britain Great again by using the Taxes, which has been paid in by those who work in the Uk over many years. By looking after our Pensioners, Improving our NHS, Schools, Housing etc And Taxing Non-Dom's and the Big Corporations who make big profits in the UK but don't pay tax.

  • Make the UK less attractive to Migrants who want to come across to the UK thinking it is the land of opportunity. Stop paying out for all the Asylum seekers and Migrants who have come across to the UK Legal applicants should be self supporting. UK Citizens have paid into the UK's Coffers and should now bearing the fruits of their Labour over the Years' Migrants have not paid any taxes and they are just draining our Country's Coffers. The UK should now be allowed to recover & grow towards a brighter future.

  • We Welcome those who are of benefit to the UK and those who come as Tourists to visit for a holiday.

Britain won’t turn migrant boats back to France, says immigration minister

Dame Angela Eagle says move would need agreement of Paris, whose policy is not to intercept boats unless migrants ask for rescue.

Dame Angela said the Government was ‘looking’ to see if the UK could prosecute some of the boats’ pilots or facilitators Sammer Al-Doumy/AFP

It has led to controversial videos of French navy and border force vessels shadowing migrant boats to the mid-way point in the Channel, where they are rescued by the British Border Force and taken to Dover.

France argues that any interception without the permission of those on board breaches maritime law because to do so would put their safety at risk. They will only intervene if the migrants request help.

By contrast, Italy has struck a £90 million deal with Tunisia, under which its border force and coastguard vessels turn the boats around and return them to the Tunisian coast.

Asked why Britain’s £490 million agreement with France could not allow the same tactic, Dame Angela told LBC: “The French don’t accept that migrants should always be returned to them.

If incidents happen in French territorial waters, they go back to France. If they happen in British territorial waters, we bring them in to safety in the UK.”

She added that the Government was “looking” to see if the UK could prosecute some of the boats’ pilots or facilitators.

“There are increasing signs of violence on the beach, as in France, often police are attacked in France, and so we’re seeing what we can do to cooperate from a law enforcement point of view to ensure that anyone who behaves violently towards a French officer can be brought to justice,” she said.

Dame Angela’s comments follow a meeting in Rome between Sir Keir Starmer and Giorgia Meloni, the Italian prime minister, on Monday to discuss how Italy has reduced the number of people crossing the Mediterranean by more than 60 per cent.

It came after the deaths of eight people on Sunday when their boat, with 60 aboard, hit rocks and sank off the French coast. This brought the number of migrant deaths this year to at least 45, nearly four times the 12 who died last year.

Some 23,533 people have arrived in 448 boats across the Channel this year, with an average of 52 people per vessel. It is the same number that had crossed by this time last year, but 6,000 fewer than in the record crossings year of 2022.

Dame Angela said the UK would examine whether Italian plans to process asylum seekers in Albania works before deciding whether to pursue a similar policy.

She told Times Radio: “Firstly, we don’t know whether it will work yet because it hasn’t started. Much of this has been portrayed currently as if it’s already a success, but the fact is that it hasn’t started.

“We will see how it works. But what we have said is that any scheme that we deal with for offshore processing or anything else has to be workable, it has to becost effective, and it also has to be in line with international law.”

Dame Angela said Sir Keir’s meeting with the Italian prime minister s”doesn’t mean we endorse absolutely everything every single Italian member of the government says or does”.

She added: “But we are meeting a G7 country and a fellow Nato member to see how we can cooperate across borders to deal with some of these vile people-smuggling gangs.

“That is the announcement I’m making about the £75 million extra to beef up the border security command and that means that we can send people into Europol, extra investigators, more intelligence, we can work with our partners across Europe and in other places to try and put a stop to this vile trade.”

If the French don't stop the migrants before they get to the shores of French waters and they keep coming over to Britain The UK Government should not pay the French Government any more money, which they were paid to stop the Migrants before they got into to the boats supplied by Human Trafficking Gangs, as they are not effectively stopping the Migrants from coming over to the UK.

If Migrants come over to Britain they should be taken to a ship, placed below deck and taken back to France once the ship is full after taking photos and fingerprints so they can't come to the UK illegally again, if they do they will have to be arrested and charged with entering the UK without legal papers.

To sum up, those who make landfall on beaches, or any other uncontrolled area of coastline may be arrested for having entered illegally if they seek to escape from or evade immigration officers or constables who seek to lawfully question them about their means of arrival and whether they qualify for entry.

Hitler tried to invade Britain

Adolf Hitler released a directive 80 years ago on July 16, 1940, declaring his plan to cross the English Channel for a full-scale invasion ...Operation Sealion. We defeated the German Military and Hitler and stopped them from Invading the UK.

We need to take charge of our own borders and close them to everyone who tries to cross them to anyone who does not have a Passport or to prove who they are

If we don't stop illegal Migrants from coming over to the UK and 115,000 or more come over to the UK by the end of 2024 and the same amount of Migrants keep coming over every year till the end of 2029 there will be 805,000+ Migrants in the UK by the end of 2029!
