Prisons are full now, but what about the future? Population Will Rise Year On Year!
British Citizens Have A Right To Protection From Those Who Cause Physical Harm to British Citizens who live in the UK as this can also cause lifelong harm Mentally to the Families or Friends of those who lose their lives at the hands of Criminals and also to the person who suffered from an attack, as the memories never leave you.
Some injuries may leave individuals with chronic pain, limited mobility, or even permanent disabilities.
It has come to the attention of the Citizens of Britain that Labour MP
Shabana Mahmood was appointed Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice on 5 July 2024.
Quote: "I will do what it takes to make sure our prisons never run out of space." We have no choice but to do things differently. That does not have to mean going easy on criminals.
Low-risk prisoners
Now the Labour Government have said that
Low-risk prisoners will automatically be released after serving 40% of their sentence for the first time.
It is expected that this year, to allow several thousand prisoners to leave early, starting in September. Sources said the numbers would be eased out gradually.
The measure is expected to be applied to prisoners serving sentences of under four years, and will not apply to those convicted of violent, sexual or terrorism-related offences.
After warnings from senior police and prison sources that law and order could break down within days if prisons can no longer accept inmates.
QUOTE: A senior police source said criminals would take advantage by committing crimes they would not usually do, such as looting, while former prisoners released on licence would be more likely to reoffend because they knew they would be less likely to be recalled.
The government’s expected plans are “the least worst option”, said the Metropolitan police commissioner, Mark Rowley.
For the prison system to run smoothly and effectively, officials ideally want to keep a buffer of 1,425 cell spaces free in men’s prisons at all times to make sure there is enough space to hold sudden influxes of inmates.
This should definitely not apply to Prisoners who are in Prison for Domestic Abuse. Or any Prisoners who have committed Rape especially any Child Rape.
Carrying out emergency releases like the Conservative Government did on MoJ figures show 10,083 prisoners were released under ECSL scheme between October 2023 and June 2024 in England and Wales.
Shabana Mahmood who was appointed Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice on 5 July 2024,
Came before the House to set out the emergency measures that they were forced to take to prevent our prisons from filling up entirely.
Had we run out of prison places, police would not have been able to make arrests, and courts could not have held trials. It could have led to a total breakdown of law and order in our country, with all the associated risks to public safety. That is why we were forced to take emergency action, releasing some prisoners earlier than they otherwise would have been—in most cases, by only a few weeks or months. That bought us precious breathing space, but if we do not act, our prisons will fill up again.
Campaigners against violence against women and girls, remain concerned about whether the new proposals will protect women, particularly victims of domestic abuse. It emerged that some domestic abusers were released under the ECSL scheme announced by Chalk, the previous justice secretary (Conservative).
The fixed-term recall measures,
which will free up 1,400 cells
Will apply to those serving sentences of between one and four years, which could include some registered sex offenders and domestic abusers.
However, violent criminals, terrorists and sex offenders who are not subject to notification requirements will be excluded from the new scheme, as well as those who have been recalled for a serious further offence.
The exclusions will focus on offenders managed under Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (Mappa) at Level 2 or 3, in which criminals are subject to enhanced risk management with police, prisons and probation services.
Why not let out those who committed less serious crimes with tags and monitoring?
The Justice Secretary said sex offenders would be excluded?? Sex offenders and domestic abusers to walk free from prison under Labour plan will free up 1,400 spaces... but letting out prisoners who have committed serious crimes should not happen.
So releasing them early will apply to those serving sentences of between one and four years, which could include some registered sex offenders and domestic abusers. Which is telling prisoners they will never serve their full sentence even if they re-offend??
On 26 June 2022, Zara Aleena was walking home
in Ilford, East London, and was sexually assaulted
and murdered by Jordan McSweeney
The Aunt of Zara Aleena, who was murdered by a man who had been out of prison on licence for nine days, said releasing inmates after serving 40% of their sentences could be “a dangerous gamble with public safety” if the probation service was unable to cope.
Farah Naz told BBC Breakfast: “If the system cannot deal with those people being released into the community, then those people are not going to be supervised adequately.
It was a man who was emboldened because he was not supervised, he was not assessed, he was constantly allowed to do what he wanted to do, and therein lies a dangerous gamble with public safety with this move right now.”
In the case of Aleena’s killer, Jordan McSweeney, Naz said the probation service was “not fit to deliver supervision” or “act in a timely way” when he broke his licence conditions.
Harriet Wistrich, the founder of the Centre for Women’s Justice, said: “Clearly there is a crisis in prisons that needs to be addressed. However, where someone represents a danger or risk then early release could have disastrous consequences, particularly where the probation service and adequate supervision of those released on licence is also on its knees.”
Alex Chalk, the previous justice secretary (Conservative), has confirmed that he also prepared plans to release some prisoners after 40% of their sentence and to send fewer people to jail in the first place but these were shelved over fears of a lack of support in parliament.
... The Conservative Government released prisoners early in 2024
Rishi Sunak’s government released more than 10,000 prisoners up to 70 days early, figures reveal, as the new justice secretary prepares to announce further emergency measures to ease another overcrowding crisis in jails.
Ministry of Justice figures show that 10,083 prisoners were allowed to walk free under the end of custody supervised licence (ECSL) scheme between October 2023 and June 2024 in England and Wales.
Under the scheme, announced in October 2023, some prisoners could be freed 18 days before their conditional release date. That was increased to 35 days in March and then to 70 days in May.
ECSL was in operation from 17 October 2023 until 9 September 2024, therefore this publication presents the final number of ECSL releases across its entire duration. The number of ECSL releases between 17 October 2023 and 9 September 2024 was 13,325.31 Oct 2024

The current Labour Government released Prisoners - Between July and September 2024, 14,920 people were released from prison, and 9,975 were recalled for breaching their licence conditions. This represents a 42% increase in recalls compared to the same quarter in 2023. For every 100 people released in the period, 67 people were recalled to prison.30 Jan 2025
The number of people in prison in England and Wales dropped by a record amount this week after the government started its early release scheme, figures show.
Weekly statistics from the Ministry of Justice are published in the Prison Population Transparency data from Ministry Of Justice, (link at the end of this blog ) shows the prison population dropped by 2,188 in the previous seven days, a fall of about 2.5%.
This may have delayed the capacity crisis but it didn't end it and there were Prisoners who had been released who comitted crimes Originally launched in October 2023, this early release scheme was brought in to address capacity pressures on the prison estate. Prisoners were initially released 18 days early, but the measure has been repeatedly expanded over the last six months. Over the course of the scheme, over 10,000 offenders were released.
Governments should not release thousands of criminals on to our streets — putting the public at risk — without first exploring and exhausting every available option.
RE-Offending:
Far from being places where offenders are punished and rehabilitated, prisons are a breeding ground for more crime.
Prison leavers are more likely to re-offend if they do not have the tools to move away from crime, if they have nowhere to live and if they do not have a job on release.
Prisons should have more checks on Prisoners
and the areas they use for drugs
The Prisons should have no areas, e.g windows or other areas where drugs can be passed to Prisoners e.g; by using drones. All Prison Visitors should be checked for drugs.
If any drugs are found on Prisoners, then they should have extra time added to their jail sentence.
Prisons should be there to rehabilitate but Prisons are there to punish the offenders for the Crimes they committed, so they shouldn't have their own personal TVs or PS5's & PS5 Games or Personal Mobile Phones as British Citizens should not have to foot the bill for these items.
But they should occupy their time with learning new skills they can use when they finish their sentence.
Reduce Re-offending
Work with prisons to improve offenders’ access to purposeful activity, such as learning, and ensure they create pre-release plans for those leaving custody.
A lack of co-ordination between prisons, probation and other local services also means prison-leavers are not getting the right support, raising the risk that they go straight back to crime
Prison's are full now but what about the future?
As the Prisons will have to shut their doors if they run out of space. and the knock-on effect will be that the Courts will have to cancel trials, and the Police will have to halt arrests as they only have so many jail cells in Police Stations.
So then Crimes will go unpunished, and Criminals will get out of hand because they will feel that they are untouchable.
resulting in a total breakdown of Law & Order.
The Prison Population Will Rise Year On Year!
Partly due to the unchecked Migrants coming across the English Channel in boats supplied by People Traffickers who are paid by the Migrants. As we already have 10,000+ Foreign Prisoners And other Prisoners on Life sentences at the time of writing this blog.
If we STOP the Migrants from getting into the UK and stop them at our Borders or use the Navy in the Sea to stop them and use armed Police on our Borders on the beaches… then we will reduce Prisoners going into UK jails who have commited crimes after Migrants have come to the UK By Boat.
If we can also send back the 10,000+Prisoners already in our jails, that will release even more spaces.
It should be a two pronged approach to stop the invasion of migrants year on year.
By still going after the Traffickers and putting them in Prison.
Stopping the Source, by putting all Migrants in an enclosed Reception Centre so they can't wander around at will if they try to come over to the UK. Just giving them basic food and drink.
This will solve the problems of all the crimes committed by the Migrants.
And the Billions been spent on housing them in Hotels and possibly Private rented. And all the added extras they are given such as Activities for them to do, paid for by the British Tax Payer. And other costs such as Healthcare etc.
They will also not have to be assessed for Asylum as they have come to the UK Illegally.
And returning them back to France, as they have not done enough to date to stop the Migrants from coming across to the UK.
They should also do this to all the Migrants who have come across in the last few years and return them as well. Make the French work for the money they have been given over the last few years.
NO Migrants = NO Money for the People Smugglers.
Deal With the French to stop Migrants
And the British People Do Not mean by giving them more money, as we have given them enough
In 2023, the previous Conservative government struck a deal to give France almost £500m over three years to go towards extra officers to help stop
migrants crossing the Channel in small boats.16 Apr 2025
£220 Million Of Your Money Handed To France Since the Boats Crisis Began – And the Problem Just Gets Worse.
And returning them to France, as they have not done enough to date to stop the Migrants from coming across to the UK.
For example, not stopping the Migrants because there is a French law?? that stops them from going into the water to drag them out of the boats, which they forgot to tell the British Government before they took the millions the UK paid them to STOP THE MIGRANTS!
Check out the link for more information at the end of this blog.
Patrick Christy showed what is happening in French Migrant Camps, forget the Photo Ops, get some real results, the French should stop more Migrant Boats, then there would be no source for them to make money from. It would be beneficial to both France and the UK if they disabled the boats as no Migrant would pay if they knew they wouldn't be getting to the UK.
If the French sorted out the law ......???
Bruno Retailleau, the French interior minister, met Yvette Cooper, the Home Secretary of Britain, on Thursday 2 February 2025.
Said that he was seeking a law change to allow migrants to be tackled out of boats in shallow water and was considering a variety of legal changes to step up enforcement against small boats.
Our Prisons are full, so we could re-open some of the jails that were closed
To make the streets of Britain safer As Labour expect to run out of places in November and the Prison population is growing too fast to build their way out of the crisis, and they say that they expect to require 9,500 more prison places than British jails at the present time currently have.
*Names of Prisons that were Closed
could be refurbished, rebuilt and brought up to current standards in 2025
In recent years, several prisons in the UK have been closed due to factors like declining prison populations, cost-saving measures, and structural issues. Some notable examples include Bullwood Hall, Canterbury, Gloucester, Kingston, Shepton Mallet, and Shrewsbury, which were closed in 2013. Additionally, individual wings at Chelmsford and Hull were also closed.

Sun Report Sep 2024
ONE of Britain’s most notorious jails has stood empty for two months — while 1,700 lags were freed due to overcrowding under PM Sir Keir Starmer’s hated early-release scheme.
Nearly 700 inmates at HMP Dartmoor were forced to move to other crammed jails after health officials detected high levels of radioactive radon gas. Updated: 15 Sep 2024. see #Radon build-ups below.
Quote : Shadow Home Secretary James Cleverly said: “This is yet more evidence that Labour leapt at releasing thousands of criminals onto our streets — putting the public at risk — without first exploring and exhausting every available option.
“When we were in government, we worked to resolve the radon issue at Dartmoor and reopen cells.
"It’s astounding Labour has given up and chosen to release prisoners instead.
"Labour urgently need to bring Dartmoor back online.
#Radon build-ups
Quote: These systems can be fitted in two or three days. I did a prison in Bridgend where they moved the inmates from one section to the other. We were in and out in a day
David Rees, engineer
Labour needs to get this sorted and then the 700 Prisoners can be moved back.
While prisoners are being released under the Conservatives because of overcrowding.
Jails were lying empty that could have been refurbished, or re-built and brought up to current standards in 2025 if they hadn't been sold. Closed in 2013+ as part of a broader cost-saving initiative. Between 2023 to 2025 these Jails could have been updated and now be in use.
And updating and refurbishing them would have been cheaper than building new Prisons' and quicker. As we haven't got enough time or money to build New Prisons. The time for excuses is over. Fighting amonst Parties won't solve anything it will just cost more in the long run of the tax payers money.
In 2025, the prison system in England and Wales is operating at or near full capacity, with limited empty spaces. While there are plans for new prisons and expansions, including refurbishment of existing facilities, the existing prison estate is aging and not always fit for purpose.
Overcrowding: The prison population has been growing faster than new capacity has been added, leading to significant overcrowding.
Refurbishment and Expansion: The government has committed to adding new prison places through a variety of methods, including refurbishing existing cells, building new houseblocks, and constructing new prisons.
New Prison Builds: New prisons like HMP Millsike are opening to increase capacity, along with expansions at existing sites.
Refurbishments: Refurbishment projects, like the one at HMP Liverpool, are bringing back out-of-use cells and upgrading existing ones.
Aging Prison Estate: Many prisons are outdated and in need of significant investment.
Limited Empty Spaces: While some empty spaces exist, they are limited and the overall capacity of the prison estate is strained.
Focus on Rehabilitation: Some new prisons are being designed with a focus on rehabilitation.
Examples of Prison Projects:
HMP Millsike:
A new 1500-place prison that supports the government's commitment to increasing capacity.
HMP Highpoint:
Expansion projects are underway, such as the 700-place expansion at HMP Highpoint in Suffolk.
HMP Rye Hill:
A new houseblock providing nearly 460 places at HMP Rye Hill in Northamptonshire has recently opened.
HMP Five Wells:
One of the New Prisons Programme's completed projects, with a capacity of 1,687.
*In 2025, there are 122 operational prisons in England and Wales, with the HM Prison Service running 105 of them. The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is responsible for justice policy, and HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) manages the prison and probation services in England and Wales. The UK Parliament reports that as of October 28, 2024, there were 85,900 people held in these 122 prisons. The prison system is currently facing overcrowding issues.
Prisoner population and prison capacity in England and Wales 2011-2025
In March 2025, the prisoner population of England and Wales stood at 87,919 while the operating capacity of prisons was 88,925. As of this month, the spare capacity of prisons in England and Wales was 1,006.
Category A – 'Those whose escape would be highly dangerous to the public or national security'. Typically for example those convicted of offences such as murder, manslaughter, terrorism, rape, wounding with intent (GBH), robbery, serious firearm and explosives offences, offences against the state, those sentenced under the Official Secrets Act, or any attempts of those offences. There are a total of ten Category A prisons in the UK, eight are located in England and Wales, one in Scotland and one in Northern Ireland.
Category B – 'Those who do not require maximum security, but for whom escape still needs to be made very difficult'. Typically for those convicted of the same types offences as category A prisoners, but who are not judged to be as high risk or those who have served a long time as a category A prisoner with good behaviour/rehabilitation are sometimes downgraded to category B. HM Prison Wormwood Scrubs is an example of a Category B prison. They are the equivalent of a medium security prison in the United States for example.
Category C – 'Those who cannot be trusted in open conditions but who are unlikely to try to escape'. Typically for those convicted of minor offences and who are serving shorter sentences no more than a few years in length. Also category B prisoners coming to the end of their sentence are sometimes downgraded to category C to prepare them for release. HM Prison Berwyn is an example of a Category C prison.
Category D – 'Those who can be reasonably trusted not to try to escape, and are given the privilege of an open prison'. Category D prisoners are held in "Open Prisons" in which they are trusted to be able to move freely around the prison without risk and who after completing a risk assessment may be allowed to work outside of the prison in the community or allowed short home visits for a set number of hours a week. Also category C prisoners coming to the end of their sentence are sometimes downgraded to category D to prepare them for release. HM Prison Ford is an example of a Category D prison.
Prisons and Young Offender Institutions With Prison Name and details....
#Link to Full List of Prisons in England & Wales (2025) at the end of this blog.
In summary, while there are empty spaces within the prison system, the overall capacity is limited and there are plans to expand and refurbish existing facilities, along with new construction, to address overcrowding and improve prison conditions.
Low Security Prisoners who have not
committed any violent crimes
But in the meantime, we could release Prisoners who would not be a threat to other British Citizens. They could serve the rest of their sentence under House Arrest or have a tag put on for the rest of their sentence. For example Lucy Connelly.
As new technology has the potential to expand punishment outside the prison walls, surveilling offenders in the community.
A recent study showed the tags we use to monitor curfews cut reoffending by around 20 per cent, also tougher community orders for some criminals with the prospect of a prison sentence if they reoffend.
Criminals need to be subject to a release arrangement??
So they prevent and don't re-offend and to protect the public. letting them out after 28 days automatically (walkout) under Labour's changes after being recalled to prison won't deter them.
Keep the Parole boards, as criminals have to wait at the moment for another Parole hearing before they can be released again.
Prisons should be reserved for real Criminals who are a threat to the Citizens of Britain
Such as Murderers, Rapists, Criminals who stab Citizens for no reason....
Or instead of giving lengthy sentences to those who commit Murders, such as Axel Rudakubana
who committed the Southport Murders, a better outcome would be to gather all evidence needed, have a court trial then when they have been proven guilty of all charges, put in Prison in Solitary Confinement and after a year when no new evidence is found, they should be shot or hanged.
As there was plenty of evidence that he committed the crimes, as he was caught red-handed at the scene of the crime.
There will be plenty of Murderers who are in Prison and will never be released and will die in Prison, so if their was enough evidence and DNA to prove they did the Crimes they were put in Prison for, then they should be hung or shot and that would free up spaces and save the Country a lot of money, we could do the same with Rapists etc
Other Murders where the guilty person or persons were arrested after they had committed the crime, but had not been caught at the scene of the crime.
Evidence and DNA should be found, and the person accused should be placed in Prison for up to 5 years. If damming evidence was found, they could then be hanged or shot by a firing squad. But if evidence came to light that showed they had not committed the crime, they could be released.
Last year, David Gauke and a panel of criminal justice experts were asked to carry out a review of sentencing to ensure there is always space inside our prisons for dangerous offenders. And said they would have to recommend bold, and sometimes difficult measures.
They could recommend the following....
Rebuild & refurbish and open up Prisons that were closed. see * above, as it would be faster than building 3 New Prisons.
Then the 17,000 awaiting trial could then be taken to court, we could start off with crimes such as burgulary, Fraud etc
The Government could open separate remand centres which could be built near Prisons or close to the Courts where they will be tried for the crimes they have been remanded for.
In September 2024, the remand prison population stood at 17,662, a record high, external In 2016, it was about 10,000.
Punish The Criminals Not The Victims And Their Families
All Violent Criminals
We can keep prison numbers down by reducing the current population in our prisons by bringing back hanging or using a firing squad , for those who are currently serving life sentences for Murder...and will never be released.
Which will also be a deterrent to the population of Britain, if they know that will be the outcome if they commit crimes such as Murder etc.
Bring back Capital Punishment for those who took the life of another person, shouldn't be allowed to continue their life if they took the life of another person.
Or damaged a person physically and/or mentally for life, bring back Capital Punishment for those who took the life of another person. Or damaged them physically or mentally for life, those they had attacked.
Knife crime action plan
I totally agree with doing all the following on Knife Crime as it seems to be related to Gangs and other types of crime. I also think that if it leads to the loss of life they should be dealt with, as in they should pay with their life, as those who commit more serious crimes of murder, rape, child abuse also carry knives , as those who carry knives do so with the intent of using the knives (See Above Punish The Criminals Not The Victims And Their Families)
As there is no point in placing them in Prison as they will re-offend when they get out of Prison.
And the damage these criminals inflict on victims and their families is lifelong; if the victim loses their life or receives lifelong effects from the criminal who inflicted the injuries.
As some injuries may leave individuals with chronic pain, limited mobility, or even permanent disabilities. These long-term effects can impact every aspect of a person's life, from their ability to work and engage in everyday activities to their overall quality of life.
Knife crime has been rising for a decade, claiming far too many young lives. It is a national crisis, requiring urgent action.
Tackling violence against women and girls
For too long, violence against women and girls has been ignored. Our landmark mission to halve violence against women and girls in a decade will require a national effort.
Labour says they will use every government tool available to target perpetrators and address the root causes of abuse and violence. This needs to be sorted out as it is destroying lives in the UK, mentally and physically.
That starts with tougher enforcement and protection. With Labour, there will be specialist rape and sexual offences teams in every police force.
The most prolific and harmful perpetrators will be relentlessly targeted, using tactics normally reserved for terrorists and organised crime.
Prosecution rates for rape are shamefully low with many victims dropping out of the justice system when faced with years of delays. Labour will fast-track rape cases, with specialist courts at every Crown Court location in England and Wales.
Violence and abuse against women and girls doesn't come from nowhere.
Misogyny is one root cause, and therefore
Labour will ensure schools address misogyny and teach young people about healthy relationships and consent. We will ensure police forces have the powers they need to track and tackle the problem.
Stalking has not been treated with the seriousness it deserves. Labour will strengthen the use of Stalking Protection Orders and give women the right to know the identity of online stalkers.
Spiking is a devastating crime for victims, leaving many women feeling vulnerable when they go out. Labour will introduce a new criminal offence for spiking to help police better respond to this crime.
Should be caught and given tougher sentences than they have been given in the past
For the more serious crimes of murder, rape, and child abuse should be tried in a court of law, after collecting and examining all the evidence at the scene of the crime & the home.. of the person who has been charged with committing the crime. Those who commit these crimes should be placed in a high-security holding Prison; when it has been proved beyond all doubt that the DNA evidence which has been collected and examined at the scene of the crime. That the person who has been charged has done the crime.
They should be given a date by the judge to be either hanged or executed, as the damage these criminals inflict on victims and their families is lifelong. So the Criminal should pay with their life as they will only go on to commit these crimes again as they will never reform, this will also free up a lot of space in our Prisons reducing costs to the country of keeping these types of Prisoners inside for life or being let out by a parol board.
As some Rapists/Child Abusers are let out of Prison after short sentences have been served and have gone on to commit the same type of crime after release.
And the general public does not feel safe knowing that these criminals are back amongst the general public living nearby.
This is not an accident, but the result of Conservative choices over the last 14 years. Community policing has been downgraded, with neighbourhood officers pulled off the beat to plug shortages elsewhere, weakening connections with the communities they serve.
Trust in the police has been undermined by failures in vetting and appalling misconduct of some officers. Powers to combat antisocial behaviour and shoplifting have been weakened, leaving our town centres exposed. Our justice system has been allowed to grind to a halt.
If we send back to their Country Of Origin the 10,350 Foreign Criminals
Currently residing in our Prisons, who commited crimes other than the severe crimes such as Murder, Rape & Stabbings to finish their sentence and also list them as having no leave to return in their lifetime.
And those who committed Murder, Rape & Stabbings, who are British Citizens including Foreign Criminals as they comitted severe crimes such as Murder, Rape & Stabbings should have the same outcome, Hanging...as the British Citizens who are indiginous to Britain, as they comitted them on British soil.
As, Foreign Criminals, may not be put into Prison in their Country of Origin if they are sent back, as they committed the crime on British soil and not in their Country of Origin, so they may try to come back over to the UK.
Police should have the trust of communities
Victims must have faith that justice will be delivered, and criminals will be punished.
Prisons should not be academies of crime.
These are not outlandish expectations. They are the basics of a safe, secure, law-abiding society.
Sadly, this vision is a world away from Britain today. Our sense of security has been badly eroded. Serious violence is too high. Growing numbers of young people are drawn into gangs, drug dealing and violence at ever earlier ages.
Antisocial behaviour blights our town and city centres.
Fewer criminals are being caught and punished. More victims are being let down.
I Agree with the above that when you report a crime the Police should come as soon as a crime has been reported and investigated properly, even if a British citizen is feeling unsafe because they have heard someone near their home or their home been broken into, the Police should be there at the time of the crime been committed and catch the criminals in the act, not afterwards.
The British public will then feel a lot safer and know they are been protected from criminal acts, and if they need help, it will be there immediately. Also, having a visible Police presence will make everyone feel safer.
The Justice Secretary has removed
an important deterrent
Labour Justice Secretary has put the British public at risk - they should just deport foreign criminals as they are just clogging up our prisons or bring back hanging for murderers, rapists or those in prison on attempted murder including knife crimes.
This must change. Labour have said they will...
Restore neighbourhood policing with thousands of extra officers
And will equip officers with the powers they need.
They will tackle the epidemic of serious violence, with a greater focus on prevention and by holding the companies and executives cashing in on knife crime personally to account.
They say that they will no longer tolerate the violence against women and girls that stains our society.
And will reform the justice system to put the needs of victims first, tackle the prison crisis and cut reoffending.
In short, Labour will stop the Conservative chaos and return law and order to our streets.
Labour will give His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary, Fire & Rescue Services new powers to intervene with failing forces.
We will introduce mandatory professional standards on vetting, checks and misconduct for individual officers; and stronger training on racism and violence against women and girls.
Anyone with a history of violence against women and girls will be barred from the service, and we will introduce automatic suspensions if officers are investigated for domestic abuse and sexual offences.
Particular care is required when investigating children. Labour will introduce new legal safeguards around strip-searching children and young people.
Spend the savings they have Saved By
Removing the Major DRAIN (Illegal Migrants) and the Costs to house them plus more costs, on our Country's Finances & make Britain Great Again!
Refurbishing and rebuilding UK Prisons instead of building more. There must be some Prisons that weren't sold.
Then use the money saved to...
Look after Britains.....Citizens who are here legally, those who are born here 'by descent' our Children, Workers and Our Elderly, Improve our Health Services, Our National Security, Our Cost Of Living, Our Homes, look after our Culture ....
Note: British citizen 'by descent' (meaning their eligibility for citizenship derives from their ancestors' nationality status).
